Privacy Policy
TimeSlotSync is a static, browser-based tool. There are no user accounts, and the scheduling work happens entirely in your browser. This policy explains the small amount of data that is involved anyway, most of which comes from advertising and analytics rather than from us.
What we collect directly
- Nothing by default. Searching a city, adding participants and generating meeting windows all happen locally. Those details are never transmitted to a server we control.
- Share links. When you generate a share link, the plan is encoded into the URL itself. Anyone holding that link can read it, so treat it as you would any other link containing meeting details. We do not receive or store a copy.
- Local browser storage. We store your recently searched cities and your weekdays-only preference in your browser's local storage so the tool feels less forgetful. This never leaves your device and you can clear it by clearing site data.
- The contact form. If you write to us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide, handled by Netlify Forms, and use them only to reply.
Advertising
This site is free and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense, and the following applies to it:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks that we do not control may also serve ads on this site and set their own cookies.
Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
Where required, a consent message is shown before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can accept, reject or manage your choices there. Rejecting personalised ads does not restrict your use of the tool; you may still see non-personalised advertising. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies and reloading the page. Our lawful basis for any non-essential cookies is your consent; for replying to the contact form it is our legitimate interest in answering you.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. IP addresses are handled by Google and we do not use analytics data to identify individuals. You can prevent this collection with a browser extension such as Google's own Analytics opt-out add-on, or by rejecting non-essential cookies where a consent message is shown.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the exchange. Local browser storage stays until you clear it. Share links remain readable for as long as the link exists — they are not stored by us and cannot be revoked by us, so delete the message containing the link if it is sensitive.
Children
TimeSlotSync is a business scheduling tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data we hold about you — which, in practice, means contact form submissions, since that is the only personal data we receive directly. Email info@goldenance.com and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top will be updated. The current version always governs.
