Reporting something that looks wrong
Accuracy reports get answered first. Time zone data is the whole point of the tool, so if a result looks wrong we want to know. To make it quick to reproduce, please include:
- the city or IANA time zone you entered, exactly as you typed it;
- the time or date the tool showed, and what you expected instead;
- your own time zone, and the date you checked;
- the share link, if the problem was in a meeting plan.
The most common cause of a genuine mismatch is a city in a country that spans several
time zones, where the tool has to infer the zone from the region. If that is what you have
hit, you can always type the IANA zone directly — for example
America/Phoenix or Australia/Adelaide — to override the guess.
Other reasons to write
- Feature requests. Especially if a real scheduling problem is not covered.
- Privacy questions. See the privacy policy first; if it does not answer you, ask.
- Advertising and partnerships. Use the same address.
