About TimeSlotSync

Who builds this, and why it exists.

TimeSlotSync is built and run by Goldenance LLC, a small independent software company registered in Florida and founded in January 2026. The site is a one-person project, not a venture-backed startup, and it is deliberately kept simple: no accounts, no tracking of who you are, and no data stored about the meetings you plan.

Why we built it

The tool started as a personal fix for a daily problem. Our founder works in corporate finance from Miami with colleagues and suppliers in Italy and the United Kingdom, which means a working day that regularly spans Eastern Time, Central European Time and British time at once. Existing world clocks answer what time is it there, but they do not answer the harder question: given everyone's working hours, when should this call actually happen?

The other recurring frustration was daylight saving. Europe, North America and Australia change their clocks on different dates, so the gap between two cities is not a constant. A meeting agreed in early October between New York and London can land an hour off by the end of the month, and calendar invites sent as plain text get this wrong every year.

What the tool does differently

  • It answers before you type. The clock shows your local time the moment the page loads, and tells you when your own clocks next change.
  • It reasons about daylight saving explicitly. If a clock change falls between today and the meeting you are planning, the tool says so, names the date, and shows how the gap between the two cities shifts.
  • It defaults to business days. A technically valid Sunday-morning overlap is not a useful recommendation, so weekdays are the default and weekends are an explicit choice.
  • It ranks rather than lists. The meeting matcher scores candidate windows on how much unsociable time each participant is being asked to absorb, so the cost of a slot is visible instead of hidden.

How it is funded

TimeSlotSync is free to use and is supported by advertising. We do not sell data, we do not require an account, and the meeting details you enter stay in your browser — they are encoded into the share link you generate, never sent to a server we control. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what third-party advertising partners can and cannot see.

Accuracy and corrections

Time zone rules change, and governments sometimes announce changes at short notice. The tool reads time zone rules from your own browser's copy of the IANA time zone database rather than from a table we maintain by hand, so it stays current as your device updates. City-to-time-zone mapping uses the SimpleMaps World Cities Database (CC BY 4.0). If you find a city mapped to the wrong zone, or a result that looks wrong, please tell us — that feedback is the fastest way this gets better.
